Avodah: Mid-Week Ministry
Grades 1-5
Wednesdays 7:00-8:00 pm
September-June
In Hebrew, one word AVODAH is translated as work, worship and service. This is our focus for the mid-week children's ministry program. The Wednesday night meeting includes a kid friendly, God focused worship time and service workshops that coordinate with a monthly theme. Volunteers from our congregation lead workshops in their areas of giftedness, interest and experience. In addition to our regular weekly meetings, we have seasonal and holiday parties, plan fun outings such as roller skating, bowling, or miniature golf and participate in other family events at the church. At the end of each unit, we have a night of indoor games and make scrapbook pages for our journals that highlight what we've accomplished.
"For we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10
This Fall we will be starting a brand new series talking about what it means to fight the good fight.
Come and be a part of the fun and learning that takes place!
