Operation Christmas Child
What is Operation Christmas Child?
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ. 2014 Shoebox Report:
During our Operation Christmas Child annual collection week, HFFBC collected, counted, & packed 5,640 shoeboxes donated by area churches and individuals!!! That is 1,091 more than donated in 2013!! HFFBC's contribution was 558 shoeboxes. Our amazing OCC volunteer team also filled three trucks with the additional 9,822 shoe boxes from our 7 Relay Centers for a grand total of 15,462!!! That is 1,980 more shoeboxes than last year's grand total. Praise the Lord, for He allowed us to not only meet our grand total goal of 15,000 shoeboxes, but actually surpass it!
Thank you to everyone who gave shoeboxes as well as all those who helped to send them off to children around the world. Because of your generous gift and service, 15,462 children (& their families) will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus and learn of the hope of eternal life they can have through Him. "Well done, good and faithful servants!"

Packing and praying over a shoe box may be the closest thing many of us will ever get to the mission field. It doesn't get much easier than this.
This year Samaritan's Purse is planning on distributing a record number of shoe boxes to the hurting children to more than 100 countries around the world. Please help us reach more children for Christ.
One Shoe box = One child = one Gospel message = one soul.
