Outreach to Mexico


Mission Statement: To create a short term missions experience for Hampton Falls First Baptist Church in Mexico. We will serve and minister to a specific Mexican community, an orphanage called La Casa de la Esperanza. We will convey the message of the gospel of Jesus to those we meet through bible school, service projects, teaching and fellowship, as well as encouraging and fostering spiritual growth. We also desire to grow in humility, cultural sensitivity, compassion, group unity and in our walk with Christ.

Who: Candidates must be over 16 and be regular attenders of Hampton Falls First Baptist Church. Where: Tijuana, Mexico – La Casa de la Esperanza

When: November 19-27, 2015

How much: $975 per person.  To be raised by team fund raisers, personal fund raising letters and/or personal funds.

Important Dates:

  • August 2nd - Informational meeting 9am in the Junior High Sunday School classroom
  • August 16th - Applications due - (Interviews will be scheduled.)
  • By end of August - Interviews will happen & team will be selected
  • September 14 -  Team meeting #1
  • October 5 - Team meeting #2
  • October 25 - Team meeting #3
  • November 16 - Team meeting #4

  • Planning Construction projects
  • VBS lessons
  • Translation Work
  • Spanish music

3. Raising required funds and meeting appropriate deadlines.

  • Getting a passport
4. The trip itself:
  • Give with a heart of service
  • Love with the compassion of Christ
  • See through the eyes of another culture
  • Become part of a team and give up your rights
