Rebuild is a practical mercy ministry. Showing compassion and care is an essential part of any local church. In our current day of hard economic times, financial pressures can be overwhelming and crushing – weighing down individuals and families with seemingly unsolvable cares.
It is our desire here at Hampton Falls to not just say “be warm and filled” and then send you on your way without ministering to your needs. In so far as we are able it is our desire to always help others. As the Lord provides, and in an effort to be a gospel-centered church we seek to fulfill the second of the two great commands: “love your neighbor as yourself.” We do feel that we have a loving duty to care for those within our church and membership first, but also, as possible, to those in our community.
Though we are not a food bank and have limited resources, we do ask you to contact us to see if your need is something we might be able to assist in. If you live outside our area and need help and are not connected to a local church, we will seek to recommend a gospel-centered church to you in your home town.
Acts 2:44-45 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.
Acts 4:32-35 Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.
Rebuild is a ministry of our church specifically devoted to those who are struggling to find grace after difficult decisions have been made. Psalm 127:1 says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain…”. We meet from 6:00 to 7:30pm every Wednesday night for a free dinner followed by a time of discussion around a Biblical topic specifically designed for practical application in our lives. Come and join us as we seek God’s Word as the foundation we must build upon.
