WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?
In short, we are a Christ-centered, Gospel-proclaiming community that exists for the purpose of making Jesus Christ known to the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. To learn more about what we believe, you can read our Statement of Faith by clicking here.
WHAT TIMES ARE YOUR SUNDAY SERVICES?
Each Sunday during the fall, winter, and spring we have two services – at 9:00am and 10:30am. Each service lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. We begin each service nearly five minutes early so that we might encourage everyone to come in and find a seat, hear some announcements of activities coming up and then settle down to prepare our hearts for worshipping our Lord together.
We also offer Sunday School classes for children, youth, and adults at 9:00am. During the summer months we also have two services, but at adjusted times – with one being at 8:30am and the other at 10:00am and we offer one adult Sunday School class during the 8:30 hour.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I VISIT?
We are a church of about 350-400 regular attendees that range from newborns, to young families, to those in retirement. We are a warm and family-friendly church that genuinely cares for visitors. Sunday worship services consist of times of corporate and personal prayer, Bible readings, a blended style of music (ranging from organ and piano to drums and acoustic guitars), and expositional preaching. We hope to meet you soon!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Being a traditional, historic New England church 200 years old, you will see some men in coat and ties and women in dresses. But you will also see others in jeans or casual attire. Therefore, no matter your fashion preferences, rest assured you are welcome here as you are!
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
We have a variety of offerings for your children, ranging from 0 to 18 years of age. During both Sunday morning services, we offer nursery care for 0-2 year olds. We also offer Sunday School classes age-specific for preschool children (2-5 year olds) and for Elementary-aged children (Grades 1-5) at 9:00am. Click here for more information on our children’s offerings here...
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
There are two primary parking lots to the side and behind the main building as you drive in. If those two lots are full, there are overflow parking options on either side of the common on Rte. 88 and even across the street in the Lincoln Akerman School parking lot. There are parking attendants located outside who will be happy to direct you and help you with parking!
DO YOU HAVE ANY SMALL GROUP OPTIONS FOR ADULTS?
Yes! To learn all about our fellowship group ministry, please click here or reach out to Pastor Caleb Davis (cdavis@hffbc.org).
HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED?
Our church offers many ways to get involved in the ministries at the church and to get connected with others. Whether you’re looking for something age-specific, gender-specific, focused on serving, music, or just looking to learn more in general, we encourage you to either contact us or explore the Connect page. You can also stay up-to-date and connected when you’re away from the church through our multiple social media accounts.
WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU HAVE ON WEDDINGS & MARRIAGE?
We’re thrilled that you’re considering marriage and would like us to potentially host your wedding. We provide a wedding venue for our membership. You can find all the necessary information on weddings at our church as well as marriage in general through the Wedding and Marriage Statement Policy document we’ve created. Please contact us also if, after reading through the document, you’d like to begin a deeper conversation!
